The data center hall will be positioned back in the side for security reasons. The DC is expressed as a large single volume, with metal cladding and lightweight removable mesh panels, to enable future plant replacement. The office building expresses itself as two stacked sub volumes. The DC is designed to meet a target annual average PUE of 1.21 at full design load. The solution proposed to meet the cooling load of the IT equipment is direct air cooling and will use hot and cold storage in ground wells to avoid the use of powered cooling where possible.
