To keep the BUVA building as much as possible without advertising expressions there has been chosen for an autonomous element.
The height of the BUVA totem has been determined in relation to the size of the plot, the height of the surrounding buildings and the height of other surrounding advertising expressions. The position of the totem is determined in relation to the adjacent street lines.
The surfaces of the totem are executed in the same materials as has been used for the building itself. By using the same materials there is a direct resemblance to the BUVA building.
The totem includes a small projection plane for advertising expressions. In order to make the projection plane visible from the highway A29, it has been placed in a relatively high position.
