| After having given a presentation to the Beautyfication Committee of the municipality Wieringen concerning the definitive design of the durable AVIA gasstation on the business park between the N99 and the Havenweg in Den Oever, Knevel Architecten has applied for a Building Permit.
In the specifications phase, the design will be worked out more into detail. In order to realise a durable building the choice has been made to use prefab structural elements of cross laminated wooden parts as walls, floors and roof. The facades consist of an open structure of wooden parts that make it possible to realise relief and different layers. This way it’s possible to make the characteristic company colour visible in a subtle way.
