Lean planning renovation Elsevier building
Knevel Architecten organizes a Lean planning for all parties involved for the renovation into student housing of the Elsevier building in Amsterdam. On 4 December a Lean planning for the renovation into student housing of the Elsevier building in Amsterdam was organized by Knevel Architecten. With a team consisting of the client Rochdale, engineers Pieters Bouwtechniek, installation consultant DWA, contractor Hemubo and Knevel Architecten a planning untill the submission of the Environmental permit was realized.
By making use of the Lean method, the process is optimized, so there can be a continuous delivery of valuable products, waiting times can be minimized and there is no unnecessary build up of stocks. Furthermore, the team strives for a large commitment of all concerned, a significantly shorter turnaround time and as a result an earlier completion time.
