Knevel Architecten designs an AVIA gasstation
Knevel Architecten got the commission for a durable AVIA gasstation in Den Oever. The project concerns the realisation of a gasstation with accessory programme on the business park between the N99 and the Havenweg in Den Oever.
The new development is part of the Masterplan Historische Haven Den Oever that has been made by Knevel Architecten in commission by Converse DC, the Ontwikkelingsbedrijf Noord-Holland and the municipality of Wieringen. In the Masterplan has been defined that durability as a quality aspect has to be of high priorety for all parts of developments. Besides specific crafts and skills from the region, reuse of materials and climat neutral constructing are starting-points.
Due to the unique location and potentials of the region, the client Marees & Kistemaker BV in Middenmeer has a wish to investigate if there is a possibility to combine the standard programme elements of the gasstation with other functions such as an office area, shop or an automobile showroom.
